Trees by Blue Stream - a positive image for the future.

Reducing CO2 is a priority for us all and, in recognition of the UK hosting the 26th UN Climate Change Conference 2021 (COP26) in Glasgow, Blue Stream Academy has launched it’s own environmental initiative – Trees

This initiative pledges that Blue Stream Academy will fund the planting of trees with The National Forest, that will, over the course of their estimated lifetime, reduce CO2 by 100 tonnes - that’s the weight of a blue whale!*.

As part of our Environmental Policy, Blue Stream Academy will endeavour to:

- only use climate friendly paper when printing, but aim to keep products digital wherever possible

- encourage a car-sharing policy and the use of public transport wherever safe and appropriate

- utilise recycled resources and Climate Pledge Friendly products from online stockists

- recycle resources where possible

- take steps towards calculating the carbon footprint of our technology and actively work towards reducing it

- create a green space within the office by utilising green foliage plants to reduce CO2 and increase oxygen in our working environment.
