elfh Freedom to Speak Up in Healthcare in England | AICC Training Link
Blue Stream Academy is pleased to announce that the ‘Speak Up’, ‘Listen Up’, and ‘Follow Up’ training course from elearning for healthcare ( elfh ) is now available to complete on:
- the GP eLearning and Management platform
- the Health and Social Care eLearning and Management platform
- the Dental eLearning and Management platform
- the Private eLearning and Management platform
- the Hospice eLearning and Management platform
‘Speak Up, Listen Up, Follow Up’ elearning for healthcare ( elfh ) Learning
‘Speak Up, Listen Up, Follow Up’ is divided into 3 modules. These modules help learners to understand the vital role they can play in a healthy speaking-up culture which protects patient safety and enhances worker experience.
Speak Up – covers what speaking up is and why it matters. It helps people to understand how they can speak up and what to expect.
Listen Up – focuses on listening to concerns and understanding the barriers to speaking up. Managers should complete both Speak Up and Listen Up to ensure they understand what speaking up is and how they should respond when someone speaks up to them.
Follow Up – developed for senior leaders throughout healthcare – including executive and non-executive directors, lay members and governors – this module aims to promote a consistent and effective Freedom to Speak Up culture across the system, which enables workers to speak up and be confident they will be listened to, and action taken.
Senior leaders are expected to complete all three modules, Speak Up, Listen Up, and Follow Up

I’m a Blue Stream Academy user – how do I access this elfh AICC link training?
To access the new elearning for healthcare AICC linked training, your organisations Blue Stream Academy system administrator will need to add this training to your training profile. This can be done by visiting Staff > Manage Profiles under the ‘Management’ area.
Will I gain a certificate when I complete this elfh AICC training?
After completing an eLearning course on Blue Stream Academy, a certificate will be automatically generated and made accessible in the Training Records > Training Passport section.
I’m not a Blue Stream Academy user, can I access this training?
Any NHS organisation can register for access to elearning for healthcare (elfh) and take their Freedom to Speak Up in Healthcare in England programme. Click here for further information on this elfh programme.
