Supporting Personal Care and Hygiene eLearning Module – Out Now!

Blue Stream Academy is pleased to announce the release of our new Supporting Personal Care and Hygiene module which is now live across our Hospice, Nursing and Care and Urgent and Tailored Care eLearning Suites.

Personal care is an umbrella term commonly used to define the range of services put in place to support an individual with their personal care and hygiene.

Our new Supporting Personal Care and Hygiene module advises health and social care workers on how to provide personal care in a way that is discreet and respectful of the person’s individual preferences, whilst also understanding the importance of supporting the person’s dignity and independence.

This module includes the physical assistance given to a person in connection with eating and drinking, toileting, washing or bathing, dressing, and undressing, oral care and care of the skin, hair and nails.
