Blue Stream Academy Ltd. are pleased to announce the release of two brand new modules, Pressure Ulcer Management and Pressure Ulcer Awareness; these modules will be added to our GP, Nursing and Care Home, Hospice and Urgent Care eLearning suites.
The development of a pressure ulcer can be painful and debilitating, which can have a major impact on an individual's overall wellbeing.
The development of many pressure ulcers can be avoided by putting preventative steps in place. However, in some cases, it is not always possible to prevent a pressure ulcer from developing and staff need to be aware of how they can be treated and managed, to ensure the best quality of patient care possible.
These modules provide staff with guidance on how pressure ulcers can be prevented, managed and treated, in the hope that the number of individuals who develop a pressure ulcer is reduced.
