Our Third Phase of Course Updates Include...

Basic Life Support Training

Basic Life Support Level 1, Adult Basic Life Support Level 2, and Paediatric Basic Life Support Level 2
Our Basic Life Support courses ensure that individuals have the confidence and knowledge to act when someone is in cardiac arrest. The courses cover how to recognise cardiac arrest, delivering chest compressions and rescue breaths, what to do when someone is choking, and how to put someone in the recovery position.
These eLearning courses are available on our GP, Health and Social Care, Hospice, Private and Urgent Care, Dental and Aesthetics eLearning and Management Platforms.

Duty of Care

This course provides a clear overview of the duty of care and its importance for health and social care professionals. It explains what duty of care means, how it relates to safeguarding and the rights of service users, and how to respond to risks, dilemmas and complaints.
This eLearning course is available on the GP, Health and Social Care, Hospice, Private and Urgent Care, and Aesthetics eLearning and Management Platforms.

Fluids and Nutrition

This course highlights the importance of fluids and nutrition in care. It covers valuing and promoting adequate nutrition and hydratiointake, recognising poor nutrition, and ensuring food safety, supporting professionals to maintain the health and wellbeing of those they care for.
This eLearning course is available on the GP, Health and Social Care, Hospice, Private and Urgent Care, and Aesthetics eLearning and Management Platforms.

Privacy and Dignity

This course explains the importance of privacy and dignity in care. It covers respecting boundaries, maintaining confidentiality, supporting choice and participation, and managing risk effectively, helping healthcare professionals enhance care experiences while balancing safety and individual rights.
This eLearning course is available on the GP, Health and Social Care, Hospice, Private and Urgent Care, and Aesthetics eLearning and Management Platforms.

Retake Requirements

Although these courses have been updated, the core learning outcomes and assessments remain the same, so retaking them is not immediately required. However, organisations may opt to have staff complete the updated versions sooner at their discretion.
