Blue Stream Team | Employee of the Month September
Team BSA – September’s Employee of the Month!
Here at Blue Stream HQ, we love to recognise and reward our team for their achievements over the month. That’s why, we’re proud to present the Employee of the Month award to members of #TeamBSA who have gone above and beyond within their role.
In honour of Alex Burnell, one of our skilled Content Developers achieving September’s Employee of the Month, we sat down and asked him some questions about his role and what he enjoys the most about being part of #TeamBSA.
Hi Alex! Congratulations on achieving Employee of the Month this month.
Tell us a bit more about your role here at Blue Stream Academy…
I am part of the Content Development team at Blue Stream Academy. We work closely with our Creative Services and Programming teams to create eLearning modules about a range of subject matters.
How long have you been part of Team BSA?
Two years.
What is your favourite part of working here?
I love the fact that I’m always learning and the people! It’s also great to think that you’re making a genuine difference to peoples’ lives, both directly and indirectly.
What has been your favourite project as part of Team BSA?
I really enjoyed the research and creation of the Concussion Awareness module. It is a crucial issue which has been a little bit underappreciated in health and care in recent years due to the complexity of the brain. I am also really enjoying producing the modules that I have in progress at the moment.
And in your spare time, what do you get up to?
I’m a massive sports fan so I spend most weekends watching Yeovil Town FC and Somerset County Cricket Club across the country.
