Blue Stream Academy | April's Employee of the Month
As we enter May and approach the summer months, it’s time to reflect on April and celebrate our Employee of the Month.
This month, our Employee of the Month award has been presented to Rachel, a fantastic member of our charismatic customer support team. Based at our headquarters in the heart of Derbyshire, Blue Stream Academy’s customer support team provides real time assistance over the telephone, via email, or on our website live chat system. All contacts methods are monitored Monday to Friday, 9:00 – 17:30, so you can be sure to speak to a real human with no delay when you need system support in the moment.
We caught up with Rachel following the announcement of her award to find out a little more about her role at Blue Stream Academy, and what she gets up to outside the office:
1.Please tell us a bit more about your role here at Blue Stream Academy (BSA)?
I’m part of the Customer Support Team, so I’m either on the phone/ on webchat/or answering emails from users or training users with the MIS webinars.
2.What’s your favourite aspect of your role?
I’m really enjoying the webinar training and talking to the users face to face.
3.How long have you been part of Team BSA?
I will be celebrating 3 years in July this year!
4.What inspired you to join Blue Stream Academy?
I struggled to find a job after relocating back from overseas and found lots of discrimination, however Blue Stream saw my skills and experience and took me on….Shelley had faith in me.
5.What is your favourite part about working at Blue Stream Academy?
The lovely team I work with who support me and make me laugh every day! And how each day is different.
6.What motivates you to perform at such a high level consistently?
My high standards and making sure whoever I help is more than happy with the help they receive.
7.How do you approach challenges and obstacles in your work?
I always believe nothing is a problem, but an issue which can be resolved either by myself or by teamwork.
8.What's a fun fact about yourself?
I can still do the splits!!
9.And in your spare time, what do you get up to?
I enjoy my yoga practice when I can, utilising my sewing skills and spending time creating a lovely garden…..its a work in progress.

What can Blue Stream Academy’s customer support team provide assistance on?
Our in-house customer support team provides leading support to customers across all our eLearning and Management platforms, covering: General Practice (GP), Hospice and Palliative Care, Dental Care and Dentists, Private and Urgent Care organisations such as private healthcare clinics and specialist care providers, Aesthetics Clinics and Health and Social Care providers, including Nursing and Care Homes, Domiciliary Care providers and supported living organisations.
Blue Stream Academy customers can receive support whilst working around the different areas on the system, including but not limited to:
- Any of our 130+ healthcare eLearning modules
