Our Second Phase of Interactive Healthcare Training Updates Include...

Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring Training

Our Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring (ABPM) eLearning course covers when and why ABPM might be used, and what individuals should expect during monitoring. It explains hypertension, its causes, risks, and how it's diagnosed.
The course also explains blood pressure readings, relevant NICE guidelines, and categories of blood pressure. During the course, you’ll learn how to correctly fit ABPM equipment, provide appropriate instructions, and respond to errors.
Finally, it outlines treatment options for hypertension, including lifestyle changes, medication classes, and NICE recommendations for managing and monitoring the condition to reduce associated health risks.
This course is available on our GP and Private and Urgent Care eLearning and Management Platforms.

Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy (PEG) Feeding Training

This PEG feeding course provides an understanding of what PEG feeding is and who may need it. It covers the PEG placement procedure, illustrating how it is positioned in the body of patients with PEG, and the device components.
Learners explore feeding equipment (such as PEG tubes), infection control, tube feeding and medication administration, and flushing the PEG device.
The course also details care of the stoma and feeding tube maintenance, whilst detailing potential complications such as blockages and tube movement, and explains equipment cleaning and disposal. This training emphasises the importance of person-centred care and ongoing support for PEG users.
This course is available on our GP, Health and Social Care, Hospice and Private and Urgent Care eLearning and Management Platforms.

Spirometry Training

This Spirometry eLearning course offers a comprehensive introduction to spirometry for health and social care professionals. It covers the purpose and principles of spirometry, including how the test is used to assess lung function and support the diagnosis and monitoring of respiratory conditions such as asthma and COPD.
The course explains the key stages of spirometry testing, from preparation and instruction to performing and supporting the test, following national guidance and best practice. It goes on to consider, infection control, bronchodilator response and the importance of checking for accuracy in results, helping ensure spirometry is delivered safely and effectively.
This course is available on our GP and Private and Urgent Care eLearning and Management Platforms.

Retake Requirements
