PEG Feeding eLearning Module Now Live on the Health and Social Care eLearning platform!
Blue Stream Academy is pleased to announce the release of our new Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrotomy (PEG) Feeding module.
Our new Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy (PEG) Feeding module aims to refresh your knowledge on this enteral feeding method. In PEG feeding, nutrients, fluids, and medicines are delivered through a thin tube, which is passed through the skin of a person’s abdomen into their stomach.
The module addresses the advantages and disadvantages of different methods of PEG feeding, how to administer feeds, how to care for PEG equipment, care of the person with the PEG device, and how to deal with complications such as illness and infection.
What does the PEG Feeding module involve?
This eLearning module provides guidance on:
