Online Access to Prospective (Future) Records - OUT NOW
Our new Online Access to Prospective (Future) Records eLearning module is now live on the GP CPD eLearning and Management Platform.
All GP surgeries are required to give all patients in England online access to new information as it is added to their GP health record.
Patients with online accounts, such as through the NHS App, should be able to read new entries, including free text, in their health record. This applies to prospective (future) record entries and not historic data.
This eLearning module explains why these changes are being made, and the benefits of record access. It also looks at the considerations regarding online access to patient records, including how to identify patients who may be at risk, and how access will work for young people turning 16 years of age. The module also discusses how individuals can be empowered when accessing their records.
Speak to a member of the team at info@bluestreamacademy.com or on 01773 822549 to request a 30-day free trial of Blue Stream Academy and try two modules (with CPD certificates for each!), free of charge.*
